Our Partners
The Haitian Center of Evansville collaborates with a wide range of community partners to expand access to education, healthcare navigation, workforce development, and essential resources for immigrant families in the Evansville and Tri-State region.
Key education and workforce development partners include Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, the University of Southern Indiana (USI), and the Evansville Institute CNA Program, which provide pathways for job training, certification, and career advancement.
Community and social service partners include United Way of Southwestern Indiana (our fiscal sponsor), YWCA Evansville, Memorial Community Development Corporation, Building Blocks, Immigrant Welcome Center, Catholic Diocese of Evansville, Goodwill Industries of Evansville, Nurse-Family Partnership, Little Lambs, Tri-State Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul, and United Caring Shelter, which collaborate to connect families with essential resources that address social determinants of health such as housing stability, food security, and family support.
Healthcare collaboration includes Deaconess Health System and St. Vincent Ascension, helping strengthen cultural understanding and improve communication between healthcare providers and immigrant communities.
Additional partners supporting community programming and cultural engagement include Mental Health Matters, E-REP, Young & Established, Bolek Grant Writing Consulting, Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC), and the Haitian Association of Indiana.
Together, these partnerships help ensure immigrant families have access to educational opportunities, workforce development resources, healthcare navigation support, and community connections that promote long-term stability and well-being.
